Sauerkraut Salad / Surówka z Kiszonej Kapusty

300 g sauerkraut from a jar. (or 1/3 of the big jar) 1-2 carrots, shredded 1 tea spoon of sugar pepper 3 big spoons of either: vinaigrette sauce, light olive oil (my preferred choice) or fresh double cream. 2 apples, shredded (optional) Toss in a big bowl, prepare 1 hour in advance and cover before serving so all flavour mix. Leftovers are still good second day.
